EDUCHAIN
Pi Learning Hub
Privacy
This policy explains what EduChain stores, why it stores it, and how learner, mentor, payment, and community data are handled inside the platform.
Effective April 2, 2026
EduChain may collect account identity details such as your Pi username, Pi profile image when available, Firebase user ID, linked email address, profile preferences, learning progress, quiz scores, badges, wallet-related reward status, community posts and replies, mentor booking records, and transaction metadata.
Information is collected when you sign in through Pi, use EduChain features, complete lessons, participate in the community, request reward review, book mentors, or interact with admin-managed content and settings.
EduChain uses your information to authenticate access, personalize your profile, save learning progress, show leaderboards and public community identity when enabled, process mentor booking flows, review reward eligibility, moderate community content, improve platform operations, and protect the platform from misuse.
If your public profile setting is enabled, parts of your identity such as username, profile image, rank, score, badges, and public community activity may be visible to other users. Community posts and replies may also be visible inside the platform unless removed or moderated.
EduChain stores payment and reward metadata such as payment IDs, transaction hashes, booking details, reward-claim status, milestone references, and distribution review notes. EduChain does not replace Pi wallet authorization and does not control the Pi Network blockchain.
EduChain relies on third-party services such as Pi Network services, Firebase, and hosting infrastructure to operate. Those services may process information according to their own policies when you use EduChain through them.
EduChain does not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with service providers needed to run the platform, with admins who manage moderation and reward review, or where disclosure is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
EduChain retains data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain records, moderate the community, and preserve educational history. Some records may remain in logs or backups for operational or security reasons.
You can change profile visibility, reminders, and language settings inside the app. You may also sign out or stop using EduChain. Some records tied to transactions, moderation, safety, or operational requirements may still need to be retained.
EduChain uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect stored data, but no service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for securing your Pi wallet, linked email credentials, and any device used to access the platform.
EduChain is not designed to intentionally collect sensitive personal information or to target children where parental consent is legally required. Do not submit sensitive financial, medical, or government-identification data through community or profile fields.
EduChain may update this Privacy Policy as platform features evolve. Continued use of the platform after a policy update means the revised version applies.
